As a lobbyist for the past ten years and former senior congressional aide for more than seven years, Andy Garfinkel has substantial experience representing a variety of interests before the U.S. Congress and federal agencies. His work entails identifying, developing and analyzing policy solutions to challenges confronting private and public clients.
Andy has over a decade of experience contributing to the development of private-public financing partnerships to finance water and wastewater infrastructure, transportation projects, hospital expansions, university programs and private and non-profit economic development initiatives. His work experience also includes opening the federal market to information technology and defense sector companies for hardware and software procurement, as well as chemical-biological-radiological-nuclear (CBRN) defense technology through schedules and other federal contract vehicles.
Andy brings together diverse business interests and community leaders to develop proactive agendas that address project financing, economic development, transportation policy, government procurement, defense and homeland security needs and other issues that support client objectives.
