Cited by Corporate Report Wisconsin as a “name to watch for” among Wisconsin lobbyists, Lynn Morgan specializes in managing complex public policy issues that require thoughtful relations with media, lawmakers and grassroots audiences.

Combining government affairs and public relations savvy, Lynn helps clients meet their state and local objectives in the environmental, health, tax and local land use policy arenas, among others. She worked with health interest groups, for example, to develop and implement lobbying and public relations strategies that led to a $23 million state appropriation for tobacco prevention efforts, a tenfold increase over previous funding.

Lynn is an adept communications coach, enabling executives and organizations to ensure their messages are heard – and understood – by key interests such as employees, customers, neighbors, public officials and the media. She has customized workshops, for example, to sharpen the skills of religious leaders pressing for social change, a food maker preparing for live broadcast interviews, utility engineers explaining technical concepts to the public, an entertainment venue practicing its crisis communications plan, and an insurer bracing for its pending sale.

Organizations often turn to Lynn for assistance in weathering crises such as workplace fatalities, high-profile litigation, labor disputes and enforcement actions.

Lynn’s experience includes previous positions as manager of legislative and regulatory affairs for Waste Management and senior legislative counsel at a consulting firm. She has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, serves on the boards of several community organizations, and was named one of Milwaukee’s up-and-coming “40 Under 40” by the Business Journal of Greater Milwaukee.
