Tim has a 30-year record of success using his legal training working as a legislative staff person, the director of a private sector government relations program, and an advocate in non-profit and for profit entities.

Tim's areas of expertise include: bank and financial service regulation, fair lending issues, community reinvestment, housing and economic development consortiums, and local community relations.

Tim was instrumental in passing Wisconsin's Certified Capital Company (CAPCO) legislation, which made $50 million in equity financing available to new and growing Wisconsin companies.

Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and Minnesota, Tim began his professional career leading a legal assistance program in Minnesota. He then ran the District Office for US Representative Les Aspin (D-WI) for eight years, before being named head of Government Relations for Bank One in Wisconsin. During his fourteen years at Bank One, Tim also directed the bank's Compliance and Community Reinvestment programs.

Tim has a BA in Sociology from Dominican College of Racine, and a JD degree from Marquette University Law School.
