Madison, WI . . . Greg Hubbard, AJ Wilson and Ramie Zelenkova have purchased the Wisconsin
lobbying business of Broydrick & Associates, Inc. from firm founders Bill and Cindi Broydrick it
was announced today. Hubbard, Wilson and Zelenkova were Madison-based employees of the
firm, and will serve the firm’s clients under the new name of Hubbard Wilson & Zelenkova, LLC.
Broydrick & Associates, Inc. was founded in 1981 by Bill and Cindi Broydrick and has been
recognized as a leader among lobbying firms in Wisconsin since its inception. “Broydrick &
Associates always found the most cost efficient and effective solution to what seemed like at first
intractable problems,” said David Boerke of The Boerke Company, Inc.
“We’ve been in business since 1981,” said Bill Broydrick. “Cindi and I realized several years ago
that we needed a succession plan and we’re so glad we have been able to work with Greg, AJ and
Ramie to make this happen.”
The Broydricks said it was important to them to sell their Wisconsin lobbying business to people
who share their same tenacity and commitment to service to their clients.
“We’ve had the opportunity to work side-by side with Greg, AJ and Ramie, so we know their work
ethic and their abilities. Cindi and I know that our Wisconsin clients will continue to be well-served
by the team at HWZ,” Broydrick noted.
“We’ve worked with Broydrick & Associates for over 14 years and have been very pleased with
their work,” said Joel Haubrich, We Energies Manager of Government Affairs. “The transition has
been smooth and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Hubbard Wilson &
Zelenkova, LLC.”
In addition to We Energies, Hubbard Wilson & Zelenkova, LLC will continue to represent more
than 50 clients, including Plumbers Local 75, Independent Care Health Plan, JPMorgan Chase,
YWCA of Greater Milwaukee, Northwestern Mutual, Easter Seals Southeast Wisconsin, and the
Association of State Prosecutors.
“We are excited about the new opportunity and will continue the tradition of hard work and success
for our clients at HWZ,” said Zelenkova.
Also joining HWZ as employees will be long-term Broydrick employees Tim Elverman and Lynn
Morgan, who will work out of the new firm’s Milwaukee office.
The Broydricks will continue to own and operate their federal government relations practice in
Washington D.C., which has grown steadily over the past several years.
