Genetically Modified Pigs Could Ease Organ Shortage

My friend and client Dr. Joe Tector is doing extraordinary work on solving the problem of the shortage of organs for transplantation. Through his research as shown in this Wall Street Journal article it may be possible to develop pig organs that can be transplanted into humans. Today, thousands die because of organ shortages and if his research is successful there will be stunning paradigm shift in organ transplantation eliminating the shortage of organs.

I have been proud to represent Dr. Tector and his father Dr. Cy Tector who pioneered the transplant program at St. Luke’s Aurora in Milwaukee.

I am confident Joe’s work will be successful and a major health problem solved.
